UFC Fight Night 115 results: Next matches to make for ‘Volkov vs Struve’ main card winners

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returned to action for UFC Fight Night 115: “Volkov vs Struve” which went down last night (Sat., Sept 2, 2017) inside Ahoy Rotterdam in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

The promotion’s latest mixed martial arts (MMA) card was headlined by a Heavyweight fight that saw Alexander Volkov clean Stefan Struve’s clock in the third round. In the co-main event, Marion Reneau did the same to Talita de Oliveira Bernardo (recap).

Winner: Alexander Volkov

Who He Should Fight Next: Francis Ngannou

Francis was all set to face Junior dos Santos before “Cigano” was popped by United States Anti Doping Agency (USADA). Sure, Volkov isn’t the “sexy” fight due to the fact that his name value isn’t quite up there, but that’s what they said about Volkan Oezdemir, and all he does is knock people out. And Volkov is on the same path, if he can get a big win over Ngannou Alexander could find himself in the big dance sooner, rather than later.

Winner: Marion Reneau

Who She Should Fight Next: Germaine de Randamie

The two taletnd ladies were all set to mix it up at this event before “Iron Lady” was forced out with an injury. And since Marion stayed on the winning track with a knockout performance in Rotterdam. It only makes sense to re-book them and hope the fight doesn’t fall out again, Marion has now won two i na row and could provide a stiff challenge to the former 145-pound champion,

Winner: Siyar Bahadurzada

Who She Should Fight Next: Gunnar Nelson

Sure, Siyar has won two in a row, but those two fights came in the span of two years. And sure “The Great” wants to go toe-to-toe with Matt Brown, but “Immortal” is currently booked, and won’t fight against Deigo Sanchez until November. Until then, I’d like to see Siyar battle it out against Gunnar Nelson. Gunnar was recently knocked out by Santiago Ponzinibbio. And while Siyar s currently on a two-fight streak, it’s his only win in a full year. Nelson provides that veteran experience that could prove tough for Siyar, and since one prefers to bang it out while other take it down to the ground, it would truly be a clash of styles that will be fun to watch.

Winner: Leon Edwards

Who He Should Fight Next: Mickey Gall

Both men are riding a four-fight win streak both men hold a win over Sage Northuct. Mickey is currently on the mend at the momentm but he should e returning to the cage anytime soon. When hedoes, I’d like to see him bang it out against Edwards. And just like Micke stole Northuctt’s and Punk’s shine, Edwards can do the same if he can get a win oiver Mickey.
