Renato Moicano and Chan Sung Jung faced each other in a Featherweight clash earlier today (Saturday, June 22, 2019) inside the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, only on ESPN+.
Jung attacked the lead leg early, kicking his foe’s calf hard. The two circled slowly, standing directly in front of each other. Moicano fired a jab, but “Korean Zombie” saw it coming, dropping down and landing a monstrous overhand across the jab. Moicano was badly hurt, falling as Jung followed up with punches.
As his foe hit the mat, Jung immediately jumped to the back. He attempted the choke for a moment, but Jung then moved to double underhooks and hip pressure, flattening the Brazilian out. From this position, Moicano could offer no defense, and Jung forced the referee to call the contest.
Jung is a fast starter, and his right hand is brutal. Moicano needed to establish the jab and low kicks to win this contest, but Jung knocked him out before he had any chance of making that happen!
Results: Jung defeats Moicano via knockout
