The UFC Fight Night 38 card is complete with the addition of a light heavyweight bout.
UFC’s second trip to the northeast area of Brazil takes place at the Nelio Dias Gymnasium in Natal, Brazil, on March 23, and features the debut of Blackzilians member Hans Stringer. Stringer will take on Francimar Barroso in his first UFC fight.
Undefeated over the last six bouts, Stringer (21-5-3) enters the Octagon coming of a draw with Francisco France at WSOF 6 in October. Stringer, who hasn’t lost since 2010, has fought to a draw with Bellator fighter Attila Vegh in his actual undefeated run.
Barroso (16-3) returns to the UFC following a successful debut against Ednaldo Oliveira at UFC 163. “Bodao” took the fight on short notice and defeated Oliveira via unanimous decision. A former Shooto South-American champion, the Nova Uniao light heavyweight enters the bout riding a four-fight win streak.
