Joe Lauzon is the undisputed king of UFC postfight bonuses.

The 30-year old veteran lightweight from E. Bridgewater, Mass. pocketed a Fight of the Night bonus Friday night after his second-round doctor stoppage TKO victory over Michael Chiesa at UFC Fight Night 50. Both Lauzon and Chiesa pocketed $50,000 for their efforts.

That marked the 13th UFC bonus for Lauzon, which puts him one ahead of former longtime UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva. Donald Cerrone has 15 Zuffa postfight bonuses, but they include five in the WEC.

It was Lauzon’s sixth Fight of the Night bonus. He also has six Submission of the Night bonuses and one Knockout of the Night.

Meanwhile, a pair of performance bonuses were also handed out. Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza won a performance bonus for his third-round submission of Gegard Mousasi in the evening’s main event. And Ben Rothwell took a performance bonus for his knockout of Alistair Overeem. Both fighters take home an extra $50,000.
