Live, blow-by-blow updates for today’s UFC event in Raleigh, which features a middleweight fight as the headliner.

The headliner comes in the heavyweight division, with the surging Curtis Blaydes set to take on former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos. The co-main will see two former lightweights, Rafael dos Anjos and Michael Chiesa, facing off in a 170-pound battle.
This show is a regular fight night and will air roughly according to the regular schedule. The seven-fight preliminary card starts at 5pm ET/2pm PT on ESPN+, while the five-fight main card (for which play-by-play will be provided) will kick off at 8pm ET/5pm PT on ESPN+.

Round 1 –
Jordan Espinosa vs. Alex Perez
Round 1 – Espinosa with a combo. Perez is pressuring but not throwing. He finally does and lands three good shots and gets a takedown. He works from half and looks to set up an arm triangle. Espinosa is defending. Wow! Espinosa went out from an offside half guard arm triangle! That guy is strong.

Round 1 – Hill with a glancing right. Outside leg kick from Cifers. Nice right again from Overkill. Cifers dodges it that time. Left kick from Cifers as Hill lands a left. Jab from Hill. They trade in the pocket and Cifers lands a body kick. Cifers with a right. Body shot from Hill. They trade again. Hill landing at range. Cifers resets and lands a nice body kick. Hill responds in kind. Cifers gets pressed against the fence but lands the best strikes before the break. Hill with a jab and a low calf kick. Cifers clinches. They jockey for position. Cifers lands a couple of shots on the break. They trade body kicks. Hill with a straight right. Spinning back fist from Hill. 10-9 Hill.
Round 2 – Left from Hill. Ripping body kick from Cifers. Hill lands to the body. Another low kick from Cifers. They trade knees in close and Hill drags her to the mat. Hill takes the back and threatens with a choke. Cifers rolls over and Hill gets mount. Big elbows! She’s up high though. Cifers is trapped either way. More elbows from Hill. Cifers is cut. Rights to the dome. More elbows. The ref is looking closely. Hill postures up with punches and it’s over.

Round 1 – Kicks from Hill. Stosic with his own. Hill is landing his jab consistently. Stosic charges in with strikes. He holds hill against the cage briefly. Head kick lands glancingly for Stosic. Hill goes to the body. They trade body kicks. Hill is putting together combinations. He’s getting the better of the exchanges. Stosic with a big left hook! 10-9 Hill.
Round 2 – Stosic leads with a big left. He scores with a looping right as well. Stosic looks for a takedown but can’t get it. Hill with two knees and he’s pressuring. Big combination. Stosic looks stunned, he’s not firing back. He resets but misses with a winging right. Triple jab from Hill. Nice right. Short left from Hill. He has found his rhythm now. Two low kicks and a long straight left. Stosic shoots but gets nowhere. He’s getting touched up. Two body kicks and a leg kick from Hill. Stosic comes back with a combo that ends with a nice right hook. Hill goes back to the body kick. Hill with a right and a knee, but Stosic tags him with a counter. Stosic shoots and gets a takedown late, but Hill is up right away. 10-9 Hill.
Round 3 – Hill with a combo and a body shot. Stosic with a takedown and he starts pounding on Hill right away. He looked in trouble briefly, but spins back to his feet. Left hook from Stosic. Stosic shoots again, but can only get Hill to the mat briefly. Hill with a straight left. Inside leg kick. Again. Stosic with a nice right hook. Stosic shoots again, and manages to keep Hill on his back. He can’t get much going though. Hill is up with 20 seconds to go. Hill with a knee. Late takedown from Stosic. 10-9 Stosic, but 29-28 Hill.
