Live, blow-by-blow updates for today’s UFC event in Austin, which will be headlined by a welterweight fight between Donald Cerrone and Yancy Medeiros.

The headliner comes in the welterweight division, with Donald Cerrone trying to break a losing streak against the tough Yancy Medeiros.
Live results and play-by-play will commence with the Fight Pass broadcast at 6pm ET/3pm PT (a little earlier than usual) for two fights. The event will then move to FS1 at 7pm ET/4pm PT for four preliminary fights, and then stay there for the six-fight main card which kicks off at 9pm ET/6pm PT.

Thiago Alves vs. Curtis Millender
Round 1 – Slow start. Alves with an inside leg kick. Alves fights a jab through. Flying knee from Millender. Outside leg kick from Millender. Inside now. Alves with an outside leg kick off a Millender jab. Millender wobbles Alves with a left. He avoided a Millender flying knee. Left hook from Millender. Alves with a stiff left. A right from Millender drops Alves! He’s down again! Millender thought it was over and started to celebrate but it wasn’t! He jumps on him, but Alves gets back up. He eats an uppercut but fires back with leg kicks. Alves is severely hurt but managing to stay in it. Alves gets a late takedown. 10-8 Millender.
Round 2 – Alves throwing all sorts of kicks. Millender with a right. They trade rights. Jab from Millender. Body kick from Alves. Millender with a short right and a left. Alves throwing single shots. They trade kicks. Alves coming up short with his punches, and eating counter jabs. Alves with two more leg kicks. A big knee flattens Alves! It’s over just like that!

Brandon Davis vs. Steven Peterson
Round 1 – Peterson presses forward early, but it’s Davis landing. Nice shovel hook from Davis. Low kick. Peterson with his own leg kick. They trade jabs. Peterson can’t find his range. Low kicks from Davis. Front kick from Davis. Two counter rights from Davis. Nice right at the end of a 1-2 from Davis. Peterson with a counter left. Davis catches a kick and boots the other leg. Long right from Davis. 10-9 Davis.
Round 2 – Peterson has a takedown attempt stuffed. Overhand right from Peterson. Another. David cut under the eye. They trade jabs. Nice combo by Davis. Counter right from Davis, and a couple of low kicks. Peterson presses forward. Davis pops him with two lefts. 1-2 from Peterson. Davis fires back. Davis has a takedown attempt stuffed. Peterson jumps his back. Davis dumps him off and works in Peterson’s full guard briefly. They’re back up. They work in the clinch. Peterson drags him down with 30 seconds to go. Few body shots from Peterson. 10-9 Davis.
Round 3 – They trade big shots to start the round. Peterson pressing forward. Peterson with a nice combo. Davis pops him with a left. Leg kick from Davis. Body kick from Peterson. Davis getting tired. A standing elbow from Davis cut open Peterson’s forehead. Peterson can’t get a takedown. They both land again. Peterson stuffs a jab in Davis’ face. Davis lands a nice counter right. Peterson looks for a takedown but Davis popped him with a knee! He was on chicken legs, but managed to stay up despite a Davis assault. Dude’s got major heart. Davis with a head kick! Hard elbow. Peterson with a flying knee and a superman punch. 10-9 and 30-27 Davis.

Sage Northcutt vs. Thibault Gouti
Round 1 – Northcutt with a jab and a right. Gouti with a hard right. Northcutt with a takedown. He’s in side control. Gouti just holding on to Sage’s head. Gouti almost escaped but could not. Big hammerfist from Northcutt. Gouti gets to his feet. They trade low kicks. Gouti drops Northcutt with a right! He briefly looks for a guillotine, then clinches. Northcutt is getting time to recover. Sage with a knee on the break. Body kick from Northcutt, and a right over the top. Northcutt with a slick right as Gouti spins. Gouti shoots in but can’t get anywhere. Northcutt has his own takedown stuffed. Gouti spins. 10-9 Gouti.
Round 2 – Gouti whiffs on a head kick. Gouti with a combo. Sage with a single leg. Can’t get anywhere but exits with a knee. Lead left hook from Gouti. Northcutt jabbing. Another big shot from Gouti and he’s got Sage on the ground. Northcutt is in a seated position with Gouti trying to drag his legs out. Sage is up halfway through the round. Gouti puts him back on his butt though. Gouti just holding him there. Northcutt unsure what to do. He gets up with 1:15 to go, and the ref finally separates them when they stall out again. Northcutt with a hard right. Body kick from Gouti. Northcutt with a slick left. 10-9 Gouti.
Round 3 – Northcutt landed a kick to the head and the ref stopped it for some reason. I guess he got a toe in the eye? Weird. Sage with a leg kick. Northcutt can’t get a takedown. Gouti gets one though. Again only to a seated position. Northcutt up quick, but he’s dragged back down. Back up, back down. Gouti is just holding on. The ref finally separates them with 1:15 to go. Northcutt with a couple of kicks and he wants a takedown. Gouti fights him off. Hard right from Northcutt on the break. Gouti with a left. Northcutt tries for a takedown again but couldn’t get it. They both spin at the horn. 10-9 and 30-27 Gouti.

Diego Ferreira vs. Jared Gordon
Round 1 – Ferreira with an inside leg kick. Cup check on Gordon. Cornuts cam? Yup. Right up the middle. Gordon with a counter right. Another low blow. Yikes. He didn’t lose a point, but he will if it happens again. Knee to the body from Ferreira. Gordon can’t get a takedown. Ferreira dropped him with a left hook! He steps right over into mount and traps and arm, opening up with strikes. It’s over!
Diego Ferreira defeated Jared Gordon via KO (strikes), 1:58 of round 1
Round 1 – Inside leg kick from Neal. Neal with a big combo that backs Camozzi off. They clinch up. They break and exchange big shots. Neal gets the best of it again. Camozzi briefly looks for a standing guillotine, but they separate. Slapping body kick from Camozzi. They both land hard lefts. Neal with a right around the guard. Camozzi is down on one knee against the cage and Neal just stepped over and secured a bulldog choke. Camozzi was forced to tap. Strong guy. I guess it was a one-arm RNC.

Joby Sanchez vs. Roberto Sanchez
Round 1 – I’ll use their first names here so there’s no confusion. Roberto with a quick long right. Body kick from Joby, but Roberto looks for a takedown. They reverse positions a couple of times. Roberto wantedto take the back but Joby spun away. Now he jumps on Joby’s back. Standing body triangle. He’s looking for a choke. Joby tried to drop to the ground but Roberto held on with the choke, and secured it. Well done.

Sarah Moras vs. Lucie Pudilova
Round 1 – Moras with a jab. Pudilova with a left. Moras lands a head kick that seems to stun Pudilova, and gets a takedown into full guard. Not much happening here. Moras finally frees her hands and lands a left. Couple of elbows. Pudilova just trying to lock her down, unsuccessfully. Moras stands up in guard and lands a right. She tries to crash through Pudilova’s guard but that doesn’t work. Pudilova throwing hammerfists from the bottom. The ref stands them up with 1:10 to go. Pudilova charges right at her and lands a couple of big shots. Moras’ nose is bleeding. A big right drops Moras! Moras immediately looks for a triangle, then an armbar. It’s secure but Pudilova refuses to tap! Wow. Pudilova escapes and lands some huge shots on the ground to the horn. Well, that escalated quickly. 10-9 Moras.
Round 2 – Pudilova starts with a big right. Pudilova misses with a right and Moras dives in for a takedown. Pudilova stacked her but Moras immediately looked for an armbar from the bottom. Pudilova slams her way out of it. Pudilova ends on top in side control. Moras regains full guard. Pudilova is pushed up and eats an upkick, but dives back in with a right. Moras looking for a triangle. Pudilova gets her head out, and then lets Moras up to her feet with 40 seconds to go. Leg kick from Pudilova. Pudilova with a long right that puts Moras on her butt again. 10-9 Pudilova.
Round 3 – Moras with a right. Pudilova with a nice right. Another, Moras weakly looks for a takedown and ends up on her back. Pudilova backs out and gets her to stand back up. Pudilova back to the rights. Moras in on a takedown attempt but stuffed. Moras ends up on top after a while. She looks tired though. Pudilova locks her down. Elbow from the bottom from Pudilova. Moras trying to throw strikes but she’s not landing anything. Pudilova sweeps. 10-9 and 29-28 Pudilova.

Josh Burkman vs. Alex Morono?
Round 1 – Side kick from Burkman. Quick left hook too. Morono with an inside leg kick. Another side kick from Burkman. Inside leg kick from Burkman. Morono with a hard outside leg kick that knocks Burkman off balance. Another. Burkman switches stance after just two of them. Morono with a combo and the left drops Burkman! He immediately secures a guillotine and gets the tap!

Oskar Piechota vs. Tim Williams
Round 1 – Piechota with a nice right. And again. Williams trying to fire back. Leg kick from Piechota. Williams with a nice combo. Piechota with a big winging right and Williams is down! Piechota jumps on him and pounds him out.
