Take a look at the fights lined up for UFC Fight Night 102 in Albany, New York, including a heavyweight tilt between Derrick Lewis and Shamil Abdurakhimov.
The UFC is going to New York City on November 12th for UFC 205, but on December 9th (one day before UFC 206), they’ll head upstate to the state capital of Albany. This UFC Fight Pass special will originate from the Times Union Center, where the main and co-main events are heavyweight bouts. Derrick Lewis, who lost his co-main slot at UFC Manila because of the event’s cancellation, has been rebooked for his first main event spot, and it’s against Shamil Abdurakhimov. French heavyweight prospect Francis Ngannou will battle Anthony Hamilton in the co-main.
Also of note, top 10 bantamweights collide as New York’s own Aljamain Sterling will face Raphael Assuncao. TUF 23 winners Andrew Sanchez and Tatiana Suarez are also featured on this card, with Sanchez fighting Trevor Smith, and Suarez fighting Juliana Lima.
