Take a look at the Saturday, February 27th UFC Fight Night card in London, England, where Anderson Silva and Michael Bisping square off in a five-round middleweight main event.
Michael Bisping has longed for a fight with UFC legend Anderson Silva, and this Saturday he’ll finally face “The Spider”. Silva obviously is no longer champion, with his reputation damaged after the suspension for PED use last year. This is still an important fight for both men, as Bisping figures to get his elusive title shot with a win against Silva, while Anderson could climb back into the title picture if he can become the first man to defeat Bisping in his home country.
The night’s co-main event is also a key one for the middleweight division. Thales Leites, who lost to Bisping last July, will take on Gegard Mousasi, who is in must-win mode after his shocking knockout loss to Uriah Hall in September. Rounding out the main card is a welterweight clash between English prospect Tom Breese against Keita Nakamura, and bantamweight sluggers Brad Pickett and Francisco Rivera.
One important note for UK + Ireland viewers, this card will stream on Fight Pass only, as opposed to televised on a free-to-air network. It has been advertised as the biggest event in Fight Pass history, so that’s one way to assure it’ll bring in a big live streaming audience.
