UFC Vegas 26 didn’t bring about a lot of rankings changes.
UFC Vegas 26 became way less relevant when it lost its original headliner between former bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw and top contender Cory Sandhagen. Marina Rodriguez taking on Michelle Waterson was promoted to the new main event, but took place a division up due to the short notice five rounds. So, despite Rodriguez’s nice win, it doesn’t really mean anything here. Alex Morono stopping Donald Cerrone wasn’t enough for him to crack the rankings either.
So what are we left with? Not a lot. Gregor Gillespie and Neil Magny used their wins to move upwards a bit. And that’s about all.
Here’s a look at the few changes coming out of last Saturday’s Apex event.
