As expected the UFC plans to host September’s UFC 151 event at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
MMAjunkie.com first reported the plans this past month, and UFC officials have formally added the venue request to the agenda for Thursday’s Nevada State Athletic Commission meeting.
The Sept. 1 event features a light-heavyweight blockbuster between champion Jon Jones and Dan Henderson.
