UFC Gdansk medical suspensions: Five fighters, including Cerrone, handed 180-day terms

Donald Cerrone might be on the sidelines for a little while.

The UFC’s event in Gdansk, Poland this past weekend wasn’t as violent as most expected. Still, there were some injuries that came out of the show, and one of the headliners was handed a long medical suspension. He wasn’t the only one either – four other fighters, one of whom actually finished his fight, were handed 180-day terms as well.

Donald Cerrone, who was stopped by Darren Till in the first round, suffered a broken nose in the fight which might keep him out of the December booking he previously stated that he had. The promotion also handed Jan Blachowicz, Devin Clark, Damian Stasiak, and Sam Alvey the full 180 days (which can be cleared early by a doctor).

The UFC, who handled their own regulation for the event due to the lack of a commission, released the medical suspension info to mixedmartialarts.com:

Devin Clark: Suspended 180 days or until cleared by right calf and right elbow X-ray; minimum suspension 30 days no contest, 21 days no contact

Damian Stasiak: Suspended 180 days or until cleared by right knee MRI; minimum suspension 45 days no contest, 30 days no contact

Sam Alvey: Suspended 180 days or until cleared by right knee MRI

Andre Fili: Suspended 45 days no contest, 30 days no contact

Lina Lansberg: Suspended 45 days no contest, 30 days no contact due to TKO

Karolina Kowalkiewicz: Suspended 30 days no contest, 21 days no contact

Jody Esquibel: Suspended 30 days no contest, 21 days no contact
