Just when Jon Jones was putting his traffic violation troubles behind him, things took a turn for the worse for the former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion.

“Bones” was issued a total of five citations after an Albuquerque police officer pulled him over for allegedly partaking in an illegal drag race on the streets of “Duke City” a few days ago.

And earlier today (March 29, 2016), Jones turned himself into authorities after a judge issued a warrant for his arrest when he deemed the latest traffic transgressions a violation of probation.

UFC released a statement to the media addressing the situation (via MMA Fighting):

UFC is aware that Jon Jones turned himself into the Albuquerque Police Department this morning for a potential probation violation stemming from a traffic stop last week. UFC has been in touch with Jones’ legal team and will have no further comment until the organization has had appropriate time to gather necessary information.

Of course, Jones denies any wrongdoing and vowed to fight the citations in court when he steps in front of a judge on April 5, 2016.

And he — nor his legal team — are going to take it lying down, as evidenced by this raw video that shows Jones and Johnny Law involved in a heated back-and-forth exchange in which “Bones” labeled the lawman a “fucking liar” and a “pig” while accusing him of harassment.

The police officer wasn’t shy in expressing his displeasure with Jones, either, telling him to zip it with the attitude and offered up sarcastic rebuttals to Jon’s multiple insults.

As of now, Jones is still scheduled to face Daniel Cormier for the 205-pound title in the main event of UFC 197 on April 23, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
