Six fighters face layoffs stretching upwards of six months as a result of damage sustained at UFC Fight Night 64, including heavyweight headliner Gabriel Gonzaga, according to the event’s official medical suspension report, which was released this week to Mixedmartialarts.com by the UFC.

The UFC acted as its own sanctioning body in Krakow, Poland, as is customary for international events staged in countries that lack their own organized commission.

Gonzaga suffered a brutal third-round TKO loss at the hands of Mirko Cro Cop in the event’s headlining bout, a violent revenge eight years in the making after Gonzaga’s memorable 2007 head kick finish of the Croatian. Now Gonzaga will be forced to the sidelines for upwards of 180 days, pending clearance from a negative CT scan on his head and face.

Along with Gonzaga, five other fighters received similar 180-day sentences for potential injuries suffered during the event: Jimi Manuwa (both shins), Sheldon Westcott (both elbows), Joanne Calderwood (right elbow), Yaotzin Meza (both elbows), and Anthony Hamilton (right eye).

UFC Fight Night 64 took place April 11 at the Tauron Arena Krakow. The event aired entirely on UFC Fight Pass.
