UFC London event to be headlined by Jimi Manuwa vs. Corey Anderson

A light heavyweight bbattle will headline the UFC’s return to London.

With the UFC’s return to London less than two months away, it seemed kind of strange that the card didn’t have a main event yet. Well according to MMA Junkie, the promotion has taken care of that by booking a light heavyweight bout between Jimi Manuwa and Corey Anderson to headline the March show.

Manuwa (16-2, 5-2 UFC) is coming off a huge knockout win over Ovince Saint Preux at the last UFC show in England in October. He has alternated wins and losses in his last five fights overall.

Anderson (9-2, 6-2 UFC) has won four out of his last five, only dropping a split decision to Shogua Rua last May. His last fight was a second-round TKO victory over Sean O’Connell in December.

UFC Fight Night 107 goes down in the 02 Arena in London on March 18th. Also featured on the card will be Brad Pickett’s final fight against Henry Briones, Joseph Duffy’s last UFC fight (at least for now) against Reza Madadi, and prospect Marc Diakiese taking on Teemu Packalen.
