Maybe they think it’s an easy fight?

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight contender, Darren Till, was unable to win the 170-pound title when he went to war with Tyron Woodley at UFC 228 last September, and will now focus on putting together a new win streak to earn himself another crack at the crown.

But now that “The Gorilla” has been sent back to the welterweight zoo, it seems the rest of the division is using that opportunity to pick a fight with the Liverpool native. Fortunately for UFC matchmakers, Till doesn’t sound like the choosy type.

“I think I’m the most called out welterweight fighter,” Till said. “There’s a target on my back, which is good for me. Obviously, I’m the guy to beat. I’m happy that I’m up there, one of the top-level fighters being called out so constant. I love it.”

Prior to holding the middleweight strap, the since-retired Michael Bisping was the most called-out fighter in the promotion. Unlike Till, “The Count” seemed rattled by all the attention and wondered aloud why no one was going after the champion.

One of the combatants picking a fight with the not-middleweight Till was welterweight veteran Jorge Masvidal, who promptly got his wish fulfilled for the UFC Fight Night 147 main event this Sat. (March 16, 2019) inside O2 Arena in London, England.

And not surprisingly, whoever wins this weekend has already been called out.
