Yan Xiaonan is getting a big push in the co-main event of UFC Macao, the first proper event held by UFC in China since 2019.

The UFC has announced a number of fights for their big return to Macao, China on November 23rd.

Earlier on Wednesday the promotion announced the show’s main event: a bantamweight showdown between No. 3 ranked Petr Yan and No 5. ranked Deiveson Figueiredo. Following that, the UFC announced several other big fights for the event, including No. 2 ranked women’s strawweight Yan Xiaonan vs. No. 9 ranked Tabatha Ricci and a light heavyweight bout between No. 10 ranked Carlos Ulberg and No. 6 ranked Volkan Oezdemir.

Also on the card: the finals of the Road To UFC season 3 tournaments.

The card will be taking place at local time in Macau, which means North American fans will have to wake up early with prelims beginning at 4AM E.T. (1AM P.T.) and the main card beginning at 7AM E.T. (4AM P.T.). U.K. fans get a rare sweet viewing time, with prelims starting at 9AM and main card at noon.

UFC Fight Night 248 goes down on November 23rd from the Galaxy Arena in Macau, China. It will be the fourth time that the UFC has held an event in Macau, and the seventh overall in China. It’s the first time the promotion has returned to China for a proper event since the pandemic — if you don’t count Road To UFC cards held at the Shanghai Performance Institute.

The last event held in the country was UFC Fight Night: Andrade vs. Zhang in August 2019.
