Hot on the heels of yesterday’s dramatic UFC London, the world’s MMA leader rolls on with next weekend’s (Sat., March 23, 2019) UFC on ESPN+ 6 from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
In the main event, two-time former welterweight title contender Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson will take on former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis. It’s not exactly the most sensical bout in terms of rankings in the deep 170-pound division, but it could be amazing match-up of flashy striking talent. ‘Could’ being the key word, as Thompson has been involved in some slower fights in his last several outings.
The co-headliner features a pivotal heavyweight match-up between No. 4 Curtis Blaydes and No. 10 Justin Willis. “Razor” will look to bounce back from his knockout loss to Francis Ngannou last November while ‘Big Pretty’ seeks to further his rise into the Top 5.
