The upcoming UFC Fight Night 169 fight card, which is set to go down on February 29, 2020 in Norfolk, Virginia, has lost a fight. According to MMA Junkie, Mike Davis has been forced out of his fight against Giga Chikadze with an undisclosed injury.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) matchmakers are currently looking for a replacement to take on Giga in Featherweight action.

Davis is 1-1 so far inside the octagon, losing his debut to Gilbert Burns at UFC Fight Night 150 in April of 2019. He bounced back nicely with a knockout win over Thomas Gifford last October at UFC Fight Night 161.

As for Giga, he is in search of his fourth straight win after making his successful Octagon debut last September by edging out Brandon Davis via split decision. Now, all he can do is keep training in hopes that UFC will find him a suitable replacement in the coming days.

UFC Fight Night 169 is set to feature a Flyweight title fight as Joseph Benavidez will face Deiveson Figueiredo for the vacant strap left behind by Henry Cejudo. In the co-main event, Felicia Spencer and Zarah Fairn dos Santos will collide in women’s Featherweight action.
