On December 12, 2020 the co-main event for UFC 256 is getting the promotion’s former interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson, colliding with the #6 ranked 155-pounder, Charles Oliveira. Betting odds have surfaced for this banger of a matchup, with the bookies siding with “El Cucuy” to come out victorious.

A straight up wager on the 25-4 Ferguson comes at a cost of -155. So, a $100 on Tony would win $64.52, plus the initial $100 back. As for the 29-8 Oliveira, the lethal contender is being offered up at an underdog value of +135. That means a $100 bet on Charles would win you $135, plus your $100 back.

Before getting stopped in the fifth-round by Justin Gaethje at UFC 249 this past May, and before several cancelled attempts at a unification bout with Khabib Nurmagomedov — Ferguson was on a stellar 12-fight winning streak, finishing nine of those opponents. “Do Bronx” is currently riding a sweet seven-fight winning wave, having finished all seven of those opponents. This is quite the epic matchup, both on paper and stylistically. It’s understandable why Tony is favored, but with Charles seeming to be in full form, it’s also makes sense for this line to be as tight as it is.
