Check out which fighters won performance bonuses from UFC Fight Night: Eye vs. Calvillo

The Apex Fight Center in Las Vegas, Nevada was home to a solid night of fights at UFC Fight Night: Eye vs. Calvillo. The card saw three (T)KOs, two submissions and five decisions, including two split-decisions.

Tonight’s card was fireworks right from the start with Christian Aguilera stopping highly touted prospect Anthony Ivy in the first round via TKO. The momentum continued with a sensational KO from Tyson Nam, followed by another from Julia Avila. Merab Dvalishvili mowed right through late replacement Gustavo Lopez via lopsided unanimous decision and Mariya Agapova submitted Hannah Cifers quickly (no surprise there), as well.

The main card kicked off with Jordan Espinosa outclassing Mark De La Rosa pretty handily, then continued on with a very entertaining scrap between Andre Fili and Charles Jourdain that saw Fili dropped early, but he recovered well and went on to take a split-decision. Charles Rosa would take a split-decision over Kevin Aguilar in a grinder of a fight and Marvin Vettori secured a first-round, rear-naked choke victory over Karl Roberson.

The headliner was a long five rounds—an absolute slog to watch, but it would be Cynthia Calvillo taking a comfortable decision over “Evil” Jessica Eye.

Performance of the Night: Christian Aguilera, Tyson Nam, Mariya Agapova, Marvin Vettori

Christian Aguilera (TKO at :59 of round 1), Tyson Nam (KO at :32 of round 1), Julia Avila (TKO at :22 of round 1), Mariya Agapova (RNC at 2:42 of round 1), and Marvin Vettori (RNC at 4L17 of round 1) all finished their respective opponents, but it would be Aguilera, Nam, Agapova and Vettori taking the bonuses tonight—all of them.

Fight of the Night: None

Merab Dvalishvili (30-26 x2, 30-25), Jordan Espinosa (30-27 x2, 30-26), Andre Fili (28-29, 29-28, 29-28), Charles Rosa (29-28, 28-29, 29-28), and Cynthia Calvillo (49-46×2, 48-47) all went the distance, but none of these fights were deemed bonus-worthy.
