Shana Dobson def. Mariya Agapova by TKO at 1:38 of round 2: (W) Flyweight
Agapova came out aggressive, wildly throwing at Dobson until she tripped and fell over. Agapova scrambled up and got a takedown of her own, but the fight quickly went back to its feet. There wasn’t a second of breathing room between strikes from Agapova, making things easier for Dobson to hit a takedown. Dobson took the back for a bit, but Agapova eventually slipped out and took the back herself. Agapova locked up a body triangle, enabling her to maintain control as Dobson squirmed.
Dobson opened up the second frame with a head kick, but was quickly taken down right after that. Agapova ended up getting swept out of position and Dobson capitalized on the moment by taking the back. Dobson dropped a bunch of ground strikes and transitioned into full mount to drop even more of them. Agapova failed to improve her position so the referee stepped in to stop the bout.
