Ahead of UFC on Fox 18: Johnson vs. Bader on Saturday night, check out the odds for the entire card below
The UFC continues their roll through the East Coast for UFC on Fox 18: Johnson vs. Bader at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The main event will likely decide the next challenger for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship as #2 ranked Anthony Johnson takes on #4 ranked Ryan Bader. The co-main features Heavyweight veterans Ben Rothwell and Josh Barnett, with the winner likely putting their name in the mix of a confusing title picture.
The odds makers have Johnson as the clear favorite to win in the main event at around -300 on most betting lines, with Bader coming in as the +250 underdog. This mean that a $300 bet on Johnson will earn you $100, while a $100 on Bader will earn you $250. (Odds courtesy of BestFightOdds.com)
As with most Heavyweight fights, the odds makers aren’t making either man the clear favorite heading into the fight. They give Josh Barnett the better chance at winning with a betting line of -140, with Ben Rothwell coming in close at +120.
The youngest and happiest fighter on the card is also the biggest betting favorite. Sage Northcutt will come into Saturday night’s fight as the heavy favorite, with odds ranging from -320 to -400. The late replacement Bryan Barberena comes in as the underdog, ranging from +260 to +300.
