The UFC on FOX 18 mixed martial arts (MMA) event is officially wrapped up and in the books, with several combatants producing key performances inside Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey last night (Sat., Jan. 30, 2016), and for that we honor the select few who went above and beyond the call of duty in the Octagon.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) doled out its customary post-fight performance bonuses to four of the 26 fighters on the evening’s card. Among those who went home with an extra $50,000 check were Anthony Johnson, Ben Rothwell, Jimmie Rivera and Iuri Alcantara.

Bantamweights Rivera and Alcantara put on an exciting back-and-forth war in their fight, earning honors as Fight of the Night and a little something extra to put into the bank. Meanwhile Rothwell became the first man to finish grappling guru Josh Barnett via submission.

In the main event, Johnson made very short work of Ryan Bader after stuffing an early takedown attempt and knocking him out.
