A look at the fight card for UFC on FOX 27, which goes down on January 27th in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The UFC hasn’t been to Charlotte, North Carolina since 2010, but that drought will end on January 27th, 2018, as UFC on FOX 27 heads to the Spectrum Center. In the main event, middleweight contenders Ronaldo Souza and Derek Brunson will have a rematch, more than five years removed from their first encounter in Strikeforce. Jacare knocked Brunson out in just 41 seconds in that contest, but Brunson has improved dramatically since then, and is among one of the top fighters in the division.
Also on tap is a light heavyweight bout between the great Ilir Latifi and Ovince Saint Preux. Rising lightweight prospect Gregor Gillespie will face Jordan Rinaldi, while Bobby Green is set to battle Erik Koch.
