LOS ANGELES – Saturday night’s “UFC on FOX: Shogun vs. Vera” card drew an announced attendance of 16,080 and a live gate of $1.1 million.
UFC President Dana White announced the figures at the night’s post-event news conference, which MMAjunkie.com attended.
UFC on FOX 4 took place at Staples Center in Los Angeles, the promotion’s third visit to that venue after UFC 60 in 2006 and UFC 104 in 2009. The card featured a pair of light heavyweight title eliminator fights between Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Brandon Vera and Lyoto Machida and Ryan Bader.
