UFC on FX 3 heads to Fort Lauderdale’s BankAtlantic Center on June 8

Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has won the UFC’s Harley-Davidson Hometown Throwdown promotion.

After winning a fan vote, the city’s BankAtlantic Center now will host UFC on FX 3 on June 8, officials today announced.

The event features a headliner, rematch and flyweight-tournament opening-round bout between Demetrious Johnson and Ian McCall.
