Throughout his 12-year mixed martial arts (MMA) career, Donald Cerrone has racked up countless knockout and submission victories that have made him one of the most beloved fighters of all time.
Before he heads into his headlining Lightweight fight against Al Iaquinta this Saturday night (May 6, 2019) at UFC Fight Night 151 in Ottawa, Quebec, Canada, UFC has unveiled “Cowboy’s” top five wins.
Without further ado, here is the list:
5. Knocking out Adriano Martins via head kick at UFC on FOX 10 in 2014.
4. Knocking out Jim Miller via head kick at UFC Fight Night 45 in 2014.
3. Submitting Mike Perry at UFC Fight Night 139 in 2018.
2. Knockout out Rick Story via ridiculous combination at UFC 202 in 2016.
1. Knocking out Matt Brown at UFC 206 via head kick in 2016.
Now, Cerrone will look to add another highlight reel win to his already-impressive resume against one of the toughest fighters in the entire 155-pound division. If he can accomplish that feat, Cerrone will firmly cement himself as a legit contender to face either Khabib Nurmagomedov or Dustin Poirier in the future.
You’ve seen the list and the highlights, care to dispute any or make your own top five list of “Cowboy’s” most memorable moments inside the Octagon?
