Holly Holm and Germaine de Randamie’s big wins over the weekend helped to elevate them on the women’s pound-for-pound list.
Following some delays, former champ Holly Holm and Irene Aldana finally got to square off in the headliner of last weekend’s UFC Fight Island 4 event. And it was completely one-sided, with Holm dominating and taking a wide decision. In another main card fight, Germaine de Randamie managed to pick her first submission win, choking Julianna Pena unconscious with a guillotine.
So what does this mean to the rankings? Well at women’s 135, not much. But it did allow both ladies to move up a spot on the women’s pound-for-pound list.
Here’s a look at the rest of the changes coming out of last weekend.
