Las Vegas – UFC today announced the renewal of its longstanding partnership with Harley-Davidson via multi-year extension. The continued collaboration with the world’s most famous motorcycle company will showcase signature branding across multiple UFC-based platforms, including social, digital and programming with events on Pay-Per-View, UFC FIGHT PASS and with global broadcast partners.
“We are excited to continue our partnership with Harley-Davidson,” UFC Executive Vice President of Global Marketing Partnerships Mike Mossholder said. “As a core sponsor since 2007, Harley has played a vital role in the growth of our sport, as our audiences align perfectly with riding enthusiasts and fight fans. Two pillar programs of our new partnership surround two passionate initiatives for both brands: A military program that provides benefits to both active and non-active military personnel, as well as first responders and Harley riders socializing at their local dealerships to watch UFC Pay-Per-View events.”
In conjunction with the extension, both global companies jointly announce a new military platform to offer exclusive benefits to active armed services personnel and veterans. Military men and women, both active and non-active, will be able to access unprecedented offers, including: discounted tickets at select events, discounted subscriptions to UFC FIGHT PASS, fight week meet and greet opportunities with UFC athletes and personalities, entry to invite-only viewing parties and discounted passes to the annual UFC Fan Expo during International Fight Week. In addition to this program, Harley will continue to offer its free riding academy services to military personnel and first responders.
“In 2007, we began a unique partnership combining two all-American brands, Harley-Davidson and UFC,” said Harley-Davidson U.S. Marketing Director Dino Bernacchi. “Our partnership with UFC has helped expose millions of new consumers to Harley-Davidson, the only motorcycle worthy of being in the Octagon. UFC athletes have spread their enthusiasm for Harley-Davidson outside of the Octagon and together with UFC fans are helping grow the sport of Harley-Davidson motorcycling in the U.S.”
UFC and Harley-Davidson have also launched a new dealer viewing party program which began with UFC 196. The program provides more than 600 Harley dealerships throughout the United States with the ability to host UFC Pay-Per-View events for all fight fans and riding enthusiasts.
For the first time since 2013, UFC and Harley-Davidson will host a UFC Fight for the Troops event in the future. For more information on the UFC – Harley-Davidson military program, please visit www.ufc.com/military.
