Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is making its return to Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, after more than a decade-long absence. The yet-to-be-titled mixed martial arts (MMA) event is scheduled for Sat., March 28, 2020, and will regrettably miss the annual Arnold Sports & Fitness Expo by just a couple of weeks.
Tickets go on sale Jan. 31.
Columbus was a regular haunt for UFC, as well as Strikeforce and World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC), but the latter two have since closed up shop and the former has expanded to the point where there are only so many places it can visit in a calendar year.
I’ve only been to Columbus once over the last few years and I can tell you from experience that it has a pretty decent Comic Con, as well as some underrated restaurants. Definitely not the worst place to visit if you’re looking to attend a live UFC event.
