The Ultimate Fighting Championship announced via press release on Monday the full slate of UFC on FOX dates in 2013, plus other select events.

The UFC on FOX calendar kicks off on Sat., Jan. 26, with an event at Chicago’s United Center. The remaining shows, all on Saturday nights, are on April 20, July 27, and Nov. 14. No venues were announced for the last three shows.

The company also confirmed an item which has long been rumored: The April 27 UFC light heavyweight title bout between Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen will be held at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. The bout will be broadcast on pay-per-view.

“2013 is shaping up to be a huge year for the UFC and we can’t wait to bring more great fights to FOX,” UFC president Dana White stated in the press release. “We’re going to continue to take the UFC all over the world putting on the biggest and best fights. FOX is an amazing broadcast partner and we’re going to do some big things next year.”

Other items noted in the schedule release were a confirmation that the Vitor Belfort-Michael Bisping bout in Jan. 19 in Brazil will air in the U.S. on FX; that the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas will host the Jose Aldo-Frankie Edgar featherweight title bout on Feb. 2; and that a Feb. 16 date is being earmarked for an international event which will air on Fuel TV.
