In what has become a recurring theme these days, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has been forced to shuffle its upcoming UFC Fight Night 155 fight card, thanks to a late injury to Beneil Dariush that torpedoed his lightweight fight with Drakkar Close.

“Yeah, I am [out of the fight],” Dariush told Sherdog.com. “Injured myself last sparring. I was hoping to push past it, but I can’t. I have two broken toes and a sprained foot.

“I feel great and ready to fight but just sad I leave here with nothing,” Close revealed to BJPenn.com. “I spent so much time on this training camp. I have a kid to feed… I’m just worried about him now.”

UFC Fight Night 155, headlined by the women’s bantamweight showdown between Germaine De Randamie and Aspen Ladd, is scheduled for this Sat. night (July 13, 2019) inside Golden1 Center in Sacramento, California.
