Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently released the official poster for its upcoming UFC Fight Night 155 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on ESPN+, scheduled for Sat., July 13, 2019 inside Golden1 Center in Sacramento, California.
The five-round bantamweight battle between Germaine de Randamie and Aspen Ladd headlines the “Sac-Town” fight card and folks, if you’re feverishly typing “omg she looks like Arya Stark lol,” I can assure you it’s already been done about 742 times and no longer carries that certain “zing.”
Anyway, De Randamie (8-3) is ranked No. 1 at 135 pounds, three spots above the No. 4-ranked Aspen Ladd (8-0). “The Iron Lady” made her return to bantamweight after getting stripped of the featherweight strap and promptly disposed of former title contender, Raquel Pennington.
As for Ladd, she’s scored six finishes in her still-perfect combat sports career and was last seen shutting down Sijara Eubanks at UFC Fight Night 152 in Rochester. A win here is likely to result in a late 2019 title shot.
