Despaigne, 35, is 4-0 with four first-round knockouts, and his last three fights have lasted a combined 19 seconds. Two of those knockouts were three seconds (watch highlights) and five seconds.
“Bad Boy” is a Cuban taekwondo practitioner who captured a bronze medal in the 2012 Summer Olympics. He stands 6’7” and cuts weight to reach the 265 lb limit.
While he got a relatively late start in MMA, Despaigne is an entertaining addition to the UFC Heavyweight division with a high ceiling, even though he is 35 years old.
Keep an eye out for his UFC debut, and check out some more highlights.
