UFC Tampa odds: Jedrzejczyk heavily favored over Waterson

Check out the betting odds for Saturday’s UFC Tampa card, where Joanna Jedrzejczyk is substantially favored over Michelle Waterson in the main event.

The Sunshine State will be the setting for today’s UFC Tampa card, and Bloody Elbow is front and center with the betting lines.

The top of this Tampa card will involve top-tier strawweights when former champ Joanna Jedrzejczyk squares up with the #7 ranked Michelle Waterson. The division’s former queen is quite pricey, owning a fully of a favored line at -335. As for Waterson, her straight up moneyline is on the table at a robust underdog value of +305. The over/under for the UFC Tampa main event has been set at 4.5 rounds. The ‘over’ is strongly favored here, clocking in at a minus mark of 280, with a +245 comeback on the ‘under.’

The bet-setters have projected that Jedrzejczyk and Waterson will reach the scorecards. The prop bet ‘Fight goes to decision’ is largely favored at -280. Going back the other way, ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ is trending at +220.

So, who do the bookies believe will be the one to earn the nod? JJ of course. The exotic bet ‘Jedrzejczyk wins by decision’ is sitting at a favored line of -136, with ‘Not Jedrzejczyk by decision’ barely at an underdog tick of +106. The betting lines peg Waterson as much less likely to win the bulk of the rounds. ‘Waterson wins by decision’ owns a substantial underdog value of +433, with ‘Not Waterson by decision’ resting at a mega-fav mark of -630.

The UFC Tampa co-main event involves a seasoned UFC vet in Cub Swanson posing as a litmus test against a marvelous grappler in Kron Gracie.

The 5-0 Gracie first opened up on betting site 5Dimes as a -265 betting favorite, with Cub starting out as a strong underdog option at +185. The bettors have been trending toward’s Swanson’s line, shifting his read down a bit to +155, thus sending Gracie’s moneyline to a much more attractive mark of -165.

The over/under for this clash of UFC featherweights has been set at 1.5 rounds. The ‘over’ can be scooped up at a minus mark of 127, and the ‘over’ owns a slight dog tag of +112. The betting lines say that Gracie and Swanson will not likely need all three rounds here. The prop ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ is strongly favored at -225, with a +175 value attached to the prop ‘Fight goes to decision.’

Typically, the fighters that finish cub tend to submit him, and Gracie, aside from being from the legendary BJJ family, has won all of his pro MMA bouts by securing a tap. So, it’s only natural that ‘Gracie wins by submission’ is sitting at a favored line of -110. For ishts and giggles, ‘Swanson by submission’ owns a comical underdog line of +2525.
