The UFC is looking at a return to Dublin, Ireland for the first time since 2015.
It’s been more than two years since the UFC’s last trip to the Irish capital of Dublin, but it looks as if the wait is over.
MMA Fighting reported that the Octagon is headed to the 3Arena on Sunday, May 27th. While the UFC staged a show in Belfast, Northern Ireland on November 2016, this will be their first one in the Republic of Ireland since UFC Fight Night: Holohan vs. Smolka on October 2015.
There’s no word on whether or not it would be on UFC Fight Pass or FS1. Last year’s UFC Stockholm card took place on the final Sunday of May and was broadcast on FS1.
The UFC’s May schedule will be entirely international, with two cards in South America and one in Europe:
UFC 224 – May 12th in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
UFC Fight Night 129 – May 19th in Santiago, Chile
UFC Fight Night 130 – May 27th in Dublin, Ireland
No fights have been even rumored for UFC Dublin.
