UFC will be bringing in headliners from five shows including top names Jon Jones, Ronda Rousey and Chris Weidman,, announcing its 2015 live events schedule and making another special announcement at a free-to-the-public event on Nov. 17 in Las Vegas
UFC will be announcing its complete 2015 schedule at a special fan appreciation type event called “The Time is Now” scheduled for Nov. 17 in Las Vegas.
The event will bring together a number of UFC’s biggest stars for a fan and media event scheduled at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts at 2 p.m. Pacific time. The event will be free to the public. The company will stream the event live on its web site.
Besides UFC President Dana White, also appearing will include the headliners for all UFC shows from Dec. 20 to Feb. 28, including UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, middleweight champion Chris Weidman, and women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey.
Other headliners scheduled are Lyoto Machida and C.B. Dollaway, who face off on Dec. 20 in Barueri, Sao Paulo, Brazil; Daniel Cormier, who faces Jones on Jan. 3 in Las Vegas, Conor McGregor and Dennis Siver, who headline Jan. 18 in Boston; Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz, who headline Jan. 31 in Las Vegas; as well as Vitor Belfort and Cat Zingano, who challenge Weidman and Rousey, respectively, for their titles, on Feb. 28 in Los Angeles.
The company also said a “very special announcement” would be made at the event.
