LAS VEGAS — The actual UFC 194 event isn’t the only thing that’s loaded.
The UFC will run two events in the days leading up to UFC 194 on Dec. 12 in Las Vegas, UFC president Dana White announced at the Go Big press conference Friday. The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale will be held Dec. 11 and a UFC Fight Night show will be Dec. 10. Those two cards will be held at The Chelsea at Cosmopolitan, while UFC 194’s venue is the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
This is the first time the UFC has ever scheduled three events back-to-back-to-back.
The TUF Finale will be headlined by a featherweight contender bout between Chad Mendes and Frankie Edgar. The co-main event pits Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson. No fights have been announced yet for UFC Fight Night on Dec. 10.
UFC 194 is, of course, headlined by a huge featherweight title unification bout between Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor. The co-main event will pit middleweight champion Chris Weidman against Luke Rockhold.
