(SPOILERS…)

Tonight, Saturday, October 31st, 2020, the UFC showcased a card featuring a middleweight bout rumored to end in the retirement of a legend. We had Uriah “Primetime” Hall vs. Anderson “The Spider” Silva going at it in the main event of the UFC VEGAS 12 card.

Overall, this elven-bout card saw four swift finishes in Round 1, two submissions, a total of six KO/TKOs, and three decisions. Rounding things out, bonuses for putting forth POTN efforts went to Miles Johns, Adrian Yanez, Alexander Hernandez, and Kevin Holland; and FOTN honors went to… no one tonight. What a wild night full of fights we have to share with you!

UFC middleweight veteran Anderson ‘The Spider’ Silva, entered the octagon having lost six of his last seven bouts, most recently, a two-fight loss streak (Israel Adesanya & Jared Cannonier). With a storied history as a former Middleweight Champion, he racked up an unprecedented record for the longest title reign with a sixteen-fight win streak (2.457 days) between 2006 and 2013, having defended the belt eleven times while Champ, he now has a 34-10 record. The 45-year-old Brazilian-American champion fighting out of Curitaba, Parana, Brazil, was pitted up against our opponent, the #10-ranked middleweight: Uriah ‘Primetime‘ Hall. Our Jamaican-American combatant, on a two-fight win streak, holding a 15-9 fight record, entered the octagon a slight underdog. The 36-year-old brawler had a two-inch height deficit and a 2-inch reach advantage going for him in his efforts to defeat Silva tonight.

Also on the card, a featherweight scrap for our co-main event; it was a battle between the up-and-comer Bryce ‘Thug Nasty’ Mitchell, who entered the octagon a moderate favorite with his five-fight win streak, boasting an undefeated 12-0 record at just 26 years of age; taking on a solid competitor in Andre ‘Touchy’ Fili, with a 21-6 fight record at 30 years of age, coming at this bout having won three of his last four outings. As if that’s not enough, we also had an exciting heavyweight tilt between Greg ‘The Prince of War’ Hardy, who faced off against Maurice ‘The Crochet Boss’ Greene – which was preceded by a fully-packed undercard; Join us to discuss all the action…
