The headliners of UFC Vegas 38 are among six fighters on last week’s card who could be out until spring of 2022. 

Thiago Santos and Johnny Walker face six-month medical suspensions following their fight at UFC Vegas 38 on Saturday night.

While the two headliners have made their reputations among the most dangerous strikers in the light heavyweight division, they were surprisingly patient throughout five rounds against one another. Significant strikes were far and few between, but the ones that did land caused some damage. Santos must have X-rays on just about everything on the left side of his body, while Walker must have an X-ray on his left foot. If the results come back showing damage, then both men will need clearance from an orthopedic doctor or risk being on the sidelines until April of next year.

Thiago Santos (left ring finger, left foot, left knee and left ribs): Must have X-rays of left ring finger, left foot, left knee and left ribs. Should result come back positive, clearance from orthopedic doctor needed or no contest until April 1, 2022. Minimum suspension/no contest until Nov. 2 and no contact until Oct. 24

Johnny Walker (left foot): Must have X-ray of left foot. Should result come back positive, clearance from orthopedic doctor needed or no contest until April 1, 2022. Minimum suspension/no contest until Nov. 2 and no contact until Oct. 24

Kevin Holland (lower lip laceration): Suspended until Nov. 2 and no contact until Oct. 24

Niko Price (left knee, left eyebrow laceration): Must have X-ray of left knee. Should result come back positive, clearance from orthopedic doctor needed or no contest until April 1, 2022. Minimum suspension/no contest until Oct. 24 and no contact until Oct. 17

Alex Oliveira: Suspended until Nov. 2 and no contact until Oct. 24

Krzysztof Jotko (left foot): Must have X-ray of left foot. Should result come back positive, clearance from orthopedic doctor needed or no contest until April 1, 2022. Minimum suspension/no contest until Oct. 24 and no contact until Oct. 17

Misha Cirkunov: Suspended until Nov. 2 and no contact until Oct. 24

Mike Breeden: Suspended until Nov. 17 and no contact until Nov. 2

Jared Gordon (head laceration): Suspended until Oct. 24 and no contact Oct. 17

Joe Solecki (forehead laceration): Suspended until Nov. 2 and no contact until Oct. 24

Antonina Shevchenko (facial abrasions): Suspended until Nov. 17 and no contact until Nov. 2

Bethe Correira: Suspended until Nov. 17 and no contact until Nov. 2

Jamie Mullarkey (chipped tooth #9): Suspended until Nov. 2 and no contact until Oct. 24

Devonte Smith (right orbital fracture): Must have right orbital fracture cleared by ophthalmologist or Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) doctor or no contest until April 1, 2022. Minimum suspension/no contest until Nov. 17 and no contact until Nov. 2

Gaetano Pirrello: Suspended until Nov. 17 and no contact until Nov. 2

Shanna Young: Suspended until Oct. 24 and no contact until Oct. 17

Alejandro Perez (forehead laceration): Suspended until Nov. 2 and no contact until Oct. 24

Johnny Eduardo (right orbital fracture): Must have right orbital fracture cleared by Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) doctor or no contest until April 1, 2022. Minimum suspension/no contest until Oct. 24 and no contact until Oct. 17
