Pendred has plenty of free time on his hands to pursue other ventures after retiring from mixed martial arts (MMA) earlier this year following back-to-back losses.

Cathal joins an ever-growing list of current and former MMA fighters who have tried their hand at acting including Ronda Rousey, Gina Carano, Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz, Keith Jardine, Georges St-Pierre, and many, many more.

More recently, UFC starlet and strawweight contender Paige VanZant landed a starring role in the upcoming Jean-Claude Van Damme film “Kickboxer: Retaliation.”
