The UFC announced the company’s latest seasonal marketing campaign Tuesday, along with a kickoff press event.
Covering UFC fight cards beginning with the Sept. 27 Japan show headlined by Josh Barnett vs. Roy Nelson, through the Jan. 2 UFC 195 event featuring Ronda Rousey vs. Holly Holm, the campaign will kick off with a press conference at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sept. 4, leading up to the UFC 191 weigh-ins.
Among those listed as attending are Rousey and Holm; UFC interim featherweight champ Conor McGregor; UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier and his UFC 192 opponent, Alexander Gustafsson; UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler and his UFC 193 challenger, Carlos Condit; UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk; UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos and challenger Donald Cerrone, Luke Rockhold, Dan Henderson, and Vitor Belfort.
Of note, the UFC officially announced that Jedrzejczyk will defend her title at UFC 195 as the co-main event to Rousey-Holm, with an opponent to be named later.
Other fighters will be announced in the coming days.
