Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has made two cuts before UFC Seattle.

Today, UFC Roster Watch revealed that Welterweight and sometimes Middleweight Warlley Alves was released from his respective contracts, and/or the promotion decided not to extend it.

Alves (14-8) blew through The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 3, winning all three of his fights to lock up a spot in the finale, where he strangled Marcio Alexandre Jr. to win the tournament. The highly touted Brazilian won his first three fights, which included a first-round submission over Colby Covington (watch highlights).

Unfortunately, that would be the best of his UFC run, as he would only win four out of 12 fights.

He exits the UFC with an 8-8 record and riding a four-fight losing streak.

UFC Middleweight Dylan Budka (7-5) was also released. “The Mindless Hulk” competed last weekend at UFC Vegas 102 and got starched in under two minutes by Edman Shahbazyan (watch highlights).

Budka went winless (0-3) inside the Octagon, also losing to Andre Petroski and Cesar Almeida.

In a post on his personal Facebook, Budka mentioned he will be dropping to Welterweight.

As of today, I’m no longer in the UFC.

I dared to be great, and I failed.

Thats what comes with taking the chance.

Everyone prepares to make it to the top, but they dont prepare what to do when the top is took from them.

But I do know that I am thankful for my friends, family, and supporters.

We are in talks with other promotions already and I will be making the move to welterweight to start the next chapter of my career.

This isn’t over, and my story isn’t done.
