UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman responds to ‘little man’ Conor McGregor’s indirect callout.
Conor McGregor is known for his cryptic tweets from time to time. Over the weekend right after UFC 245’s welterweight title fight between Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington, “The Notorious” posted a tweet seemingly implying his desire to fight for the 170-pound belt, something he’d done at both 145 and 155 pounds.
145. 155. 170.

When asked what he thought about McGregor’s post, Usman had this to say.
“He must want to die,” he responded (transcript by BJPenn.com).
“I mean, what?! He must want to die. This is not ’45, ’55. You saw what Khabib did to him. Oh my god, it wouldn’t even be fair if I fought Conor. Much respect to Conor for what he’s done for this sport and transcended it. But nah, this ain’t what you want.
“Just sit down little man, sit down,” he added. “Learn to walk before you could run because I would hurt that guy.”
“The Nigerian Nightmare” successfully defended his title for the first time on Saturday via fifth-round TKO.
