Nearly half of the fighters from UFC Vegas 33 last Saturday received a medical suspension.

The headliners of UFC Vegas 33 are two of nine fighters facing possible six-month layoffs after the event.

Sean Strickland dominated Uriah Hall en route to a unanimous decision win, but both men are looking at the same amount of time away from the Octagon for different reasons. Per the medical suspensions handed down by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) via mixedmartialarts.com, Strickland needs an X-ray of his left thigh and knee as well as an evaluation on a lower prosthetic tooth or he cannot fight again until 2022. Hall needs clearance for a right orbital floor fracture or he, too, cannot fight again until 2022.

Uriah Hall (right orbital floor fracture): Clearance from Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) doctor is needed or no contest until Jan. 28, 2022. Minimum suspension/no contest until Sept. 30 and no contact until Sept. 15

Sean Strickland (left thigh and knee, dental evaluation): Must have X-ray of left thigh and knee. Evaluation on lower prosthetic tooth also required or no contest until Jan. 28, 2022. Minimum suspension/no contest and no contact until Aug. 31

Gloria de Paula: Suspended until Sept. 15 and no contact until Aug. 31

Jared Gooden (both hands): Must have X-ray of both hands or no contest until Jan. 28, 2022. Minimum suspension/no contest and no contact until Aug. 31

Niklas Stolze: Suspended until Sept. 15 and no contact until Aug. 31

Melsik Baghdasaryan (left foot): Must have X-ray of left foot or no contest until Jan. 28, 2022. Minimum suspension/no contest and no contact until Aug. 15

Collin Anglin: Suspended until Sept. 15 and no contact until Aug. 31

Jason Witt: Suspended until Sept. 15 and no contact until Aug. 31

Bryan Barberena: Suspended until Aug. 31 and no contact until Aug. 22

Chris Gruetzemacher: Suspended until Aug. 31 and no contact until Aug. 22

Rafa Garcia (nasal fracture): Clearance from Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) doctor is required or no contest until Jan. 28, 2022. Minimum suspension/no contest and no contact until Sept. 15

Danny Chavez (right foot): Must have X-ray of right foot or no contest until Jan. 28, 2022. Minimum suspension/no contest until Aug. 31 and no contact until Aug. 22

Kai Kamaka III (right shoulder): Must have X-ray of right shoulder or no contest until Jan. 28, 2022. Minimum suspension and no contact until Aug. 31

Jinh Yu Frey: Suspended until Aug. 31 and no contact until Aug. 22

Ashley Yoder (right tibia and fibula): Must have X-ray on right tibia and fibula or no contest until Jan. 28, 2022. Minimum suspension/no contest and no contact until Aug. 31

Zarrukh Adashev: Suspended until Sept. 30 and no contact until Sept. 30

Ryan Benoit (left fibular head fracture): Must be cleared by an orthopedic doctor. Minimum suspension/no contest until Aug. 31 and no contact until Aug. 22

Phil Rowe: Suspended until Aug. 31 and no contact until Aug. 22

Orion Cosce (face, potential bicep injury): Clearance from Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) doctor is required for CT finds on face. Clearance from orthopedic doctor is also required for potential bicep injury or no contest until Jan. 28, 2022. Minimum suspension/no contest until Sept. 30 and no contact until Sept. 15
