Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight Nate Diaz, who appears to be done with the 155-pound division for the foreseeable future, called for a fight against No. 3-ranked Jorge Masvidal and not surprisingly, “Gamebred” is on board.

Matchmakers should send them a fruit basket or something.

If and when they do hook ‘em up, Diaz will enter the contest at even odds, with Masvidal clocking in at -120. That’s according to our fiscal friends at Bovada.lv, though you can expect that betting line to shift once the promotion makes things official.

Diaz returned from a three-year absence to capture a convincing unanimous decision win over former lightweight champion, Anthony Pettis, in the UFC 241 pay-per-view (PPV) co-main event last weekend in Anaheim, California.

It was his first victory since toppling Conor McGregor at UFC 196 back in early 2016 and if UFC can continue to provide interesting fights, there’s a pretty solid chance Diaz will stick around for at least one more bout.

Hopefully it’s this one.
