The undercard for former WWE champion Dave Bautista’s MMA debut is starting to come together.
Classic Entertainment & Sports MMA announced recently that veterans John Howard, David Loiseau and Mike Campbell will fight in separate bouts on the Oct. 6 card.
Bautista vs. Rashid Evans (0-0) will headline the event, dubbed “Real Pain,” from The Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, R.I. The main card will air on DIRECTV per-per-view for $29.95.
According to a press release, Bautista will kick off his press tour for the fight in Rhode Island on Sept. 7.
Loiseau (20-10), the former UFC middleweight title contender hasn’t fought since Feb. 2011 when he won the Tachi Palace Fights 185-pound title following a TKO (doctor stoppage) win over Leopoldo Serao. Since then, “The Crow” has battled an elbow injury which forced him out of action for a year and a half. He will fight 32-year-old Chris McNally (5-4).
Howard (11-7) is 3-0 since getting released from the UFC last year, which includes a 2-0 run as a member of CES MMA, while Campbell (11-4), a former WEC veteran, has won his last two fights in a row. The promotion has yet to announce who will fight Howard and Campbell in their respective bouts.
