See what today’s version of Evander Holyfield looks like hitting pads.
Evander Holyfield is slated to meet Vitor Belfort at Triller Fight Club this weekend, filling in for Oscar De La Hoya who has contracted COVID-19. The fight has been moved from California to Florida with hopes that the commission will let this thing fly. Currently it seems like it is going ahead, but we’ll see if cooler heads will prevail (a high hope for combat sports).
The 58-year-old Holyfield recently put on an open workout. Our friends at FightHubTV have the footage and you can watch it below:
After seeing Holyfield’s workout, a number of people voiced concern as he will step into a professional bout.
Honestly watch this and ask yourself if a commission should be granting him a license to box in a professional bout. If your answer is ‘yes’, then delete your account. https://t.co/qnm6eD0zTD

Basically saying shame on Florida for giving Evander Holyfield a fight licence. https://t.co/194OVI5OQW

The stuff we’re seeing from Holyfield here … I guess he’s pacing himself for fight night? https://t.co/x884R1Ohnb

FightHubTV also has former UFC champ Belfort’s open workout:
Well, we’ll see if this happens. The event is supposed to go on this Saturday night. The co-main is almost as absurd as the main event, with Anderson Silva boxing Tito Ortiz.
This event follows up Triller’s success with Jake Paul, who subsequently flew the coop to Showtime, and Mike Tyson, who is now in a legal dispute with them.
