For the past month or so, fans and fighters have lamented the cancellation of September’s UFC 151 event.

Not Jay Hieron.

Sure, “The Thoroughbred” was just as disappointed as anyone else that he
missed out on a chance to fight at the scrapped Sept. 1 fight card. But
after a little consideration, Hieron believes it may have simply been a
blessing in disguise.
