A recent video shows Dillon Danis being taken into police custody outside a bar in New Jersey over the weekend.
Bellator fighter and Conor McGregor’s training partner Dillon Danis appears to have gotten himself in trouble with the law. A video is currently making the rounds online showing the 28-year-old being restrained and arrested by police officers.
According to MMA Junkie, the incident happened at the Beachcomber Bar and Grill in Seaside Heights, NJ over the weekend. The video was posted by Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and MMA fighter Tom DeBlass, who’s been at odds with Danis over the last few years.
A supposed mugshot of Danis later surfaced through a tweet by comedian Adam Hunter.

The exact reason for Danis’ arrest has yet to be released. But a few moments after the incident was made public, “El Hefe” posted this tweet quoting the same line his more popular teammate in McGregor used.

As far as his MMA career goes, Danis holds a 2-0 record. He hasn’t fought since June 2019, when he defeated Max Humphrey via first-round submission. Danis was scheduled to face Kegan Gennrich at Bellator 238 in January 2020, but the bout was subsequently scrapped due to undisclosed injuries.
